Jesse C. Carson High School Drivers Education (DRED)

Driver Education (DRED) is offered to students that live in Carson’s school district. Students must be at least 14 years and 6 months old by the first day of the class to be eligible for DRED. In order to sign-up for the DRED class you will need to use the Registration link listed above. The cost is $68 which has to be paid online prior to the start of class. Students have to be present on the first day of class.  If a student is not present the first day of class they will need to sign up for a class at another date.
Our goal is to provide students with the laws and regulations of DRED and to help them start the driving process.  It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that the student driver safely completes the required 60 hours of behind the wheel training prior to them receiving their limited driver’s license.
